Zombie Connect

zombieconnectlogo Just in time for Halloween, Noise Digital just launched Zombie Connect, the official dating site of the walking dead. Upload a photo of yourself and zombify the photo with drag-and-drop embellishments. Choose from dangerous looking chain saws, bloody scars and stitches, infected skin patches, rotten teeth and other gory enhancements. Then, create your zombie profile (Is your personality decayed and disorderly? How frightful is your appearance? Do you prefer your food alive and kicking? Or perhaps in a brain casserole?) and fill out what you are seeking in a mate (casual feeding? or a long-term massacre?).

After zombieconnectzombiessaving your profile, you can browse through other zombie creations and rate their profiles on a “bore or gore” meter and make a “fiend request” with zombies who catch your fancy.

Surprisingly, Zombie Connect has attracted international visitors – especially from Spain, Portugal and many South American countries. Perhaps this can be attributed to the popularity of rituals and traditions associated with the dead in these countries. For example, Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a widely celebrated holiday in Mexico, Brazil and Spain which focuses on the gathering of friends and family to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died.

Regardless of your reason for visiting Zombie Connect, it’s a fun application that you can be creative with and show off to your social network. To share your zombie creation, use the direct links under each profile to connect to Facebook and Twitter or download your image for profile uses.
